Help Car Wont Shift Gear

I Have 98 Integra With A B20 Motor Automatic I Never Owned Auto So I Dont Know What To Look For
To Start I Bout The Car Blown Motor Do2 Over Heating Car Wouldnt Start
So I Place A B20 Motor Car Starts Up Fine Drive Wonderful But When Its Time To Shift Nothing Happens Rpm Just Rise Speedo Mph Doesnt Work So Im Not Sure If That Has Something To Do With Some-1 Help Please

1st thing to do would be to get a new speedo cable hooked up, or check in the back of the cluster to see if it is ripped. 2nd thing i recomend is checking the automatic tranny fluid, maybe its not shifting cause of fluids? or it could be something with the torque converter...
