Help cel code 3 on chipped p28

Ok I have a 98 gsr tuned on chrome has been running good but out of no where it throws cel code 3 and it's like it's in limp mode no vtec any help would be good

Clean up the throttle body, make sure the vacuum hoses are good, and the o-ring on the map sensor is good. If that don't work try replacing the map sensor.

Thanks have done all that and installed a new map sensor and still getting that code

Are you positive its a code 3?

Its either the MAP sensor or the MAP sensor wiring if its a code 3.
You have crome so you could easily datalog and verify if the ECU sees fluctuate manifold pressure, right?
Or do it the hard way and measure the MAP voltage going out to Ecu on D17.

Yeah your right but I don't have anyway to datalog it was just seeing if this has happen to anyone and could code 3 make you vtec not work

of course it wont work. MAP is a major sensor.

Ok so Muckman if unplug my map sensor and nothing happens does that means it's bad... Because I've heard that code 3 is a wiring problem and code 5 is a map sensor
