Help!!!! CKP Sensor

So i did that Check engine light trick on my 99 gsr and the check engine light came as the Crank Position Sensor. I have never dealt with that before does anybody know where it is located? anybody have pictures to share or walk throughs. Thanks

nothing from nowhere
the ckp sensor is located behind the lower crank pulley. the belts & pulley need to come off as well as the timing cover, then it unscrews & unplugs. gl.

The crank angle sensor tells the ECU the position of the crankshaft so it can work out when to fire the plugs and injectors. Its usually either an inductive or hall effect sensor located on the flywheel or on a pulley at the other end of the crankshaft.
