So i just recently toatled my da. Yesterday i came across a decent deal a gs-r (99) Black 180000 miles on body. No front seats needs a lil body work nothing to major except theres a leak on the hatch so there is standing water in trunk(doesnt look to be dry rotted) no blades. I have two questions what should i pay for this shell it is rolling on stellies. number two my buddys keep telling me its not a real gs-r because it doesnt say dohc vtec on the side. Is that true ?i did vin check and it came back as 99 gs-r

well obviously if you did a vin chech thats wat it is, anyone can de-badge any car so that dosent matter, and sounds like the body is pretty fucked up, standing water = rust and rust = very much bad! idk your budget an ur in need of a car so if it sounds good, do it man

Well I bought it. It's not as bad as I tought . Only rust is on hood small ding in door. Got all water out of trunk there is a lil rust where the spare tire goes but that be ok. Interior is like a 7/10. I will try to post some pics soon. I paid 500 good buy or I got got
