Help please!

So I just got a 1998 integra. I have been driving it and everything is great and im driving it today when I get to work and go to take my keys and I try to push it in to turn it the unlock postion where it will release the key and it won't. Now what I think is wrong is the ignition switch but thats a lot of money to replace so I'm hoping I could get some help, Please and Thank you in advance

My key gets stuck a lot. What I do is start the car up again and then turn it off really fast and most of the time it pops right out.

Yeah I just tried it (in the middle of the night lol) but still nothing, damnit well now I guess I should ask how do I get the cheapest oem ignition switch

Is your car automatic? Did you turn it off in neutral?

Yes automatic and checked that it was in park
