this is my axle on my halfshaft and i searched what the gap between the 2 shud be and alot of ppl were like 3 nickles, etc but i just want to be sure. thx guys! they are b series axles btw.

That looks like a lot to me.

Take it out start over again. Make sure you have no sand grains where the 2 connect.....good luck!

Make sure you have no burrs too. Emory cloth will take care of them. An air hammer will fix the gap as well. You choose.

Air hammer = CV axle stuck on if you try to remove it again :lol:

Get the pickle fork things. And a big ass hammer.

i took it out and in once without the cir clip and it came out easily and once with the cir clip in and it was a struggle
does that mean its locking in properly and the inside gap is about a nickle and the outside about 5ish nickles plz reply guys
