So I've had the Xentec HID kit in my car for about a year now. It has worked with no problems, with the 55W ballasts...
I recently discovered that one of the ballasts had been laying on a belt so it it was grinding that away and now it doesn't work so I bought a replacement and it still won't work. Not even the bright light on that side works.
I don't think it's the ballast because I tested it and it worked. But I was just unplugging and replugging things and for some reason the other side doesn't work now either, not even the brights work (which are not part of the HID kit).
I think I shorted something.
