Hood won't close

but like i said this one doesnt.


the bumpers and fenders line up


i do have fram damage but i got everything to line up

so the hood should lay on top just fine

can i get a pic of your latch?

..like i said...i KNOW its bent.

i dont wanna be difficult. but i dont think the hood has anything to do with frame if the bumper and fenders line up
i could just bend the brackets to match

but i wanna see if my LATCH was damaged cuz obviously the hood was LATCHED when it was hit. And i know for a fact the loop on the old hood was indeed bent.

edit: the one far away from bolt is passenger side (side that got hit

and the other is driver

I have this problem with my teg as well (but my hood is not damaged) i used some pb blaster and used a flat head to push the wire and green gromet to the left after i did this it closed fully, every once in a while it sticks and i have to repeat this process. If your hood has been damaged there could be alignment issues that you might not be able to fix on your on i advise a new or used hood with a new latch assembly to make sure those components are str8. good luck
