how do i convert pr4 obd0 ecu to manual

Can anybody help me? I Wanna know how to make the auto ecu manual or would it be easier to pull the chip out and put it in my manual ecu?

Probably easier to socket the manual ecu. I'm not sure but I believe changing from auto to manual required switching a resistor position. I'm not sure which one though.

Thanks buddy what does socket it mean? And the reason I ask is I got 3 pr4 ECUs and 2 are manual and one auto but the auto one is chipped and I wanna be able to run the chip so I get better performance it works in my car now but it runs funny at idle and take off but the chip makes it really fast
