How do you measure oil consumption?

Just like the title says. I curious to know how much oil I am burning every x miles. Any help is appreciated.

i think the two dots on the oil dipstick fill line equal 1 quart i think

yes the 2 holes in the stick (the hash area) is 1 qt.

so after say 1000 miles check and see where u are at..

I would not start this till AFTER u do a fresh oil change and make sure it is RIGHT ON the full mark..

i check atleast once a week, i do a complete look over at clutch, brake, oil and coolant

sorry, i dont follow. so... from the bottom dot to the top dot is 1 quart? Or, the bottom of the dipstick to the bottom dot is 1 quart?
