how long did it take you guys to learn stick

hey guys just wondering how long did it take you guys to learn stick, like to have total confidence about driving manual, driving without any jerking, finding how to balance. also what was your biggest fear about driving stick(if you had any)

about 3 weeks... 2 weeks of 20 min a day in the car with my dad and one full week of driving a couple hours a day with pops on busy streets...

About a week or so. Steep hills with busy traffic are the worst when ur learning.

Lol I the first day I really learned stick was the day when I bought my teg.... I drove it 45 mins home by myself and pretty much got the hang of it on the drive home lol

Stopping then going is the hardest part. The actual shifting is easy.

I taught my self. Id say about 2 days. I bought a brand new car that was 5 speed backin 2004 w/o knowing how to actually drive one.

i learned in a 240.. took about 30 min in a empty lot.. switching over to a honda was sooooo different

yea thats what im kinda scared about. with all that stop and go and the hills

Just go find a hill that nobody else drives on. Just practice and maybe try using ur e-brake at first.

no, I only owned the car for 30k miles, then I traded it for my srt4.

only gettin it rolling. hardest part is 1st gear and reverse. A few stalls, and some jerking and youll figure it out. Its easy
