How to clean your blower motor

Saw this on TI and thought I'd share with everyone here. All thanks and props go to Adam2003 for an awesome article!

What you will need:
T15 Torx Screwdriver / bit or 8mm Socket
Ratchet with T15 bit or 8mm Socket (optional / required)
Flashlight (optional)

Step 1: Locate the blower under your dash. It is just behind the glove box.

Step 2: Unplug the power connector

Step 3: Remove the three torx head screws. I had to use a rachet for the furthest back screw as I could not keep my long screw driver at the proper angle. The blower will easily fall out once the screws have been removed.

Step 4: Remove blower from car and clean out all the leaves and debris. I used a damp paper towel and a can of compressed air, although it was not necessary.

I forgot to take a picture prior to cleaning it, but here is what was packed inside. It doesn't look like much but it was actually a fair amount of junk.

Reverse the procedure and you are all done. Enjoy your quiet cabin fan!
