How to switch shiftboot?

I just wanna know how to pop out the plastic piece around the shift boot...
theres no bolts or screws or anything right? it just pops up?

Just trying to verify this before i break it lol

u have to remove the entire center console

^ what he said. It pretty easy 2 screws on the armrest two under the ebrake and two up by your radio. then it just slides out

hahaha yeah i almost learned that the hard/stupid way......until i got a wet ass carpet and decided to gut my baby haha
