i have 1990 acura integra. no power at low rpms

Because Honda......The B series engines (except maybe b20) make the most power up top. My B16A doesnt start to come alive till after 2500 rpm pulls good till 4300 rpm vtec engages and it Screams to 8300 rpm. This is a stock JDM B16A no mods

Or maybe your low on trans fluid or your torque converter is shot

i just had a similar problem. i couldnt take off from a hill it would die and but at 3k it would just take of and at high high rpm it would start misfiring and popping it sounds like luach control lol... took it to honda they replaced the distributor said that it wasnt a factory one and that the icm couldn't handle what the car was putting out .. anyways check it out

So, they charged you for a whole distributor? Shit. I bought and replaced my icm a few weeks back, cost me $35.
