Wait. nvm about that lol. :D By choppy acceleration you must mean hesitation... O2 sensor might be worth looking into. Just make sure your idle and vacuum systems are sorted first. One other thing you can do is clean the FITV mounted under the throttle body. It looks just like the IACV, but there's a cap fastened at the end and it doesn't have a plug. Under it is a white donut you need to tighten down with a flathead, but don't jam it tight.

Also, idle adjustment should be done with the car at operating temperature. Unplug the IACV and adjust the idle to roughly 600 RPM. Then re-connect the IACV. The idle should be at 750 or steady in a range between 700 and 800. After any toying with the idle you should reset you ECU. But do this after solving vacuum leaks or other common idle problems. Hope this is resourceful for you. Keep us post!!

The idle screw is on the top of the throttle body to the left of the braided hose that runs to the charcoal canister. It should be brass in colour. You can turn it with a flathead. Turn clockwise to lower idle speed and anti-clockwise to raise idle speed. Remember that your vacuum, FITV and IACVs need to be sorted. Ideally, you should reset your ECU after any idle adjustments. See my previous post.
