I Need Help.

Hey am 16 years old I I just bought my first car and its an Integra Ls 1990. When I bought it they had told me the compression of the engine was low but once I brought it home my mechanic came and checked it and it would stay on but once we out it into 1st gear and started taking out the clutch it turned off. We tried it over and over and the sane thing would happen. It would stay on and sound alright until we would put it in gear. What can be wrong with it? Can U Guys Help Me Out Plz?

It could be the compression like the guy said. You should search on google and see if anyone has had the same issue and found a solution. You will Lear that google is your friend. Welcome to CI

best thing to do is get a compression test done... your mechanic should be able to help you, or you can go to oreill's or autozone and get a compression tester for under 50 bucks...Just remember not to screw it too tightly into the sparkplug hole and get it stuck...

Once you have a test done post numbers ...

Yeah once you do a compression test it will be much easier to help you out.
