Identify motor, feel like I got ripped off

Noob to cars, learning quickly, gotta start somewhere right. Bought a 1994 Acura Integra LS for $1700. Looks like a ZC motor but not sure, feels like I got ripped off. Thoughts and opinions?

Directly to the left of the headers there should be a flat part stamped with the engine code...

I'd check the stamp but the vehicle is in the shop. Looked like a B18 to me when I bought it but my go to mechanic posted a pic on FB and someone commented saying it's a ZC motor so idk. I will post what the motor is as soon as I get it back from the shop or talk to my mechanic. Still open to thoughts and opinions!

A quick Google image search of "ZC block" has revealed several images of how a ZC block looks. Note the left side of the block where the stamp is located looks completely different than the block that you have.



Your picture does not look like this block therefor I believe it is a B18B
