After driving for a while If i put the car in park the idle will jump up and down between 1000 and 1500 rpm. any ideas? Just started doing this yesterday.
91 ls I've owned it for about two months.
Needs a lot of tunning up that I'm planning for but don't have funds for right now.
heres what I do know:
New plugs, wires, and cap.
the battery is on the fritz (bout to die)
auto, salvaged, and 167k on the engine but it might be more than that there was an asterisk by the odometer reading.
Another thing A few days ago it shut off while at a complete stop several times and while in park and once while driving. Hasn't done it since.
again any ideas?
