yesterday as i was driving my baby to work, not even a mile away i hear a loud bang, so i quickly pull over and pop my hood and to my suprise...my fucking distributor cap is not on, more non existent, so i just got done replacing the cap, and rotor 158.86....money that i didnt want to spend FUCK SHIT ASS SON OF BITCH FUCKING INTEGRA g2s man dont go with out a fight for anyone else that want to let of some steam let it fly....... :letout:

ur scaring me man..i been smelling a wierd burning smell for my distributor cap lately...have u noticed that as a symptom? or did u not put it back on correctly or sumthin?

Alot of times, heat is the main factor in parts breakin or failure.

no what happened was my distributor was off by a few degrees and the shop that did my motor swap still had my other motor so i just had to pay the labor and have them take the distributor off that ls motor(which is brand new) :evil: but any who yeah they threw it off somehow , they apoligized and fixed the problem :D so i should be getting her back today

i t has a warranty on parts 12 month but seeming how my teg was kinda of pain in the ass to start the lead mechanic did it on his day off, so thats why i ended up just paying for the labor seeing as how i had the part in shop..basically did me a favor...

Damn man I never heard of that be4. Hope everything else is ok. Good luck w/that shit. I know what you mean, I go 2 put a timing ,drive belts, and w.pump on my Teg and find out I need a fuckin cooling fan switch 2 ! There went another $25 on top of the cost. :wtf:
