Intake Piping and Filter?

I made my own Icebox and the DIY in this here says to buy a SRI with the K&N Filter. Will an ebay intake pipe be any less restrictive than the stock pipe? Also what filter would be best? Sorry if I failed at searching.

An eBay pipe is fine. The stock accordian arm is more restrictive. Can't go wrong with a K&N filter and they can be had in any shape or size

AEM Dry-Flow filters are pretty good too.

Will I notice a difference replacing the stock tube? Is the aftermarket piping less restrictive because it is bigger?

at stock i doubt ull be able to tell a diff...

but this is something i was gona try to do when i was gona do my DIY Icebox...see if the ebay piping would fit in my stock intake piping...so conceal it all..

Ebay intake pipe is larger then the stock accordian hose.. the ebay pipe will give u more sound and for filter I would recommend either a K&N, HKS, or something well branded (never tried the AEM dry/flo
