Is it possible to convert a short ram into a cai?

I was wondering if it were possible to convert my short ram into a cai? I saw the icebox diy...but I was hoping to make something with my current setup. I still have the preexisting plumbing from the oem intake; just not the top half due to my car being modded with a non carb legal short ram from the previous owner. Any tips / suggestions?

Yes it's possible, I'd would take couplers and the pvc pipe and make the bottom portion of the cause to fit your Sri.

Dyi icebox is a good design, Just gotta make sure your Sri is long enough to fit the icebox, but in the end all that really matters is the size of tube and what kind of filter you are using.
