Chipping the Ecu enables someone to tune the Ecu. Tuning the Ecu only makes sense if the engine is modified. Otherwise, you will not unlock 60hp from tuning a stock engine. Maybe 5hp at most. Most of these ebay "chips" are just bad basemaps or tuning starting points. They advance the ignition to unsafe levels and add lots of fuel.
