Is this true about hid lights?

looking to put some hid lghts on my 94 gsr...but i heard that it could fry my wiring harness to my lights...is this true???

wrong! hids use less power to put out more light. get 35watt kit from DDM tuning BUT if you place you wires to close to the belt it will melt your wires for the hid kit.

that was back some years ago before there were plug and play kits.... when guys were taking HIDs out of luxury cars and having em retrofitted to work in their cars. cutting,drilling,splicing,silicone,etc.... Now its easy as hell, Go for it!!
