just a cool story

Baller, yo
Okay, well for the past few months, I've made a few threads in regards to my over heating issue, I finally got the time to take it down to the mechanic and leave it then for a bit, he calls me up and gives me two options..

'Chris, we have two options, we can either sell the car, or spend a bit to fix it'

Being an Integra, I said fix it 8) so he stated the problems... here is the list

- Blown Head Gasket
- Both Fans down work at all
- Radiator Hoses cut and leaking
- Power leak which they can't locate, so they are getting in the specialists
- Possibly a faulty radiator

Anyway, I guess my plans of having a holiday have been scrubbed, haha - working to fix her up so she'll be working again!

Not sure how much it costs to fix the head gasket in the US, but in Australia the standard price is like, $2500 just for that, eeeeek.

Idk why he would say the radiator is faulty if the hoses were leaking...
broken hoses = eventually over heat.

The fans should be tested to see if the fan is broken, or the wiring is mest up.
All you do is hook power to the fan. If it doesnt work, easily replace it yourself. Most of that work is easy as heck. 2,3,5

Keep It Clean
so this whole time you didnt notice water spraying out the radiator hoses? if its a blown head gasket..you didn't notice your coolant looked like chocolate milk?

i bet you don't even have any of these problems. post a video of your car idling a d revving a little, we will tell you if you have a true blown HG.

ALSO..why would he suggest selling the car as an option? is this "tech" a filthy car sales man also?? take it to another shop. or figure everything and DIY.
