that's an engine? looks more like a pile of melted alloy. take it down to the metal recyclers and they might give you a couple of bucks by the pound if you're lucky.

guys, u pull the valve cover off all the internals ar beautiful u would be suprised the only thing comin off it is the block and head and most likely new internals anyway so it is actually fine evrything burnt is going, think about it all day there are explosions inside , it can easily survive a hous fire

When metal is burnt, it loses it's temper, meaning it gets weak, theres a difference between an engines combustion inside a s special chamger..and being in a fire..just a heads up, you may be ble to pull some parts out of it for use in a another engine, but I don't know if youll be able to rebuild that

basicly the reason we got it is becuase of the block the rest s replacable but a k24 block itself is worth something if u built it it would haul ass

of course it looks clean, it's sealed. the biggest issue is the tolerances are all wrong.

if it was an old cast iron V8, it'd probably be ok... but a K engine is all alloy and it doesn't handle heat well. all the tolerances in the engine are now probably off so instantly you can bin the heads. as for the block you can get a non burnt one out of various hondas so even free i wouldn't want a cooked one, let alone to build off.
