k24block/k20head or fully k20a

i just got a 1999 gsr shell from a friend of mine and I'm planning to throw in a motor pretty soon like next month or something... i have 10.5K as my budget should i throw in a k24 block with a k20 head or just go k20a swap? for all of you who have experience or is currently running K-series can I get some inputs?

You want to find a K series with 3 rocker Vtec like the K20A2, Z3, or R. I don't recall off hand which/if any K24s were 3 rocker.

I believe some of the newer K24's have the K20A2 etc style head already.

Maybe in Acuras, but not Honda. Hell the new Si has a damn k24z7...same as a CRV.
