Kenwood Deck

My car came with a kenwood KDC-X789. I pulled it out the other day after reading online that it has inputs in the back and only found a little circular black outlet. is this the outlet for one of those ipod cables made by kenwood? I took a picture which i didnt realize sucked so bad till i uploaded it i can take another if it helps someone identify it

it also has cables which you can see to the left of the 13 pin connector. they are labeled front back aux input and subwoofer but when i connected it to aux input there was no way to make the deck go into a AUX mode or something like that

find the manual for your deck, it will have the answers to your questions. go to google and type in the make and model of your cd deck and you'll most likely find a manual for it.

with my kenwood, i had to set the deck to standby, hit menu, then turn on the aux
