so i was just wondering, what are some of yall's best beats?
and whats yalls 1/4 times with what mods?

--my personal best beat is the one i have every day. my buddy's 05 RSX-S with cai, race header, hks hi-power exhaust, and esmm inserts.

and my personal best 1/4 is 14.644 @ 95.1 mph

mine ran 16.6 with cai, dnx axle back stock it ran 17.3, that was before i blew my motor, now i dont even have a clue, dont really have the time to run it, maybe sometime later this summer i will !!!!!

my best beats would be a 05' RSX-S w/ IHE. took him off launch. also the stock G35 that i actually thought i would never beat.

I had a gutted interior on this run.
Had the fat fives on with new Sumitomo HTR+ tires (all season tires).

I'd like to see what someone who knows how to launch well can do in my car.

best beat would prolly be a gen 3 eclipse with intake and exhaust...smoked the shit outta that v6 :D personally i have never ran the car but the previous owner ran it and completely stock the car ran a 15.1 w/ him driving

a)you're trappin a really high MPH for just a 14.6
b)you have a mildly built motor...shouldnt you be running faster?

what exactly are you launching at??

you should be able to getting alot better times then that, plus better lanches times at 60'

3,000 rpm.

All season tires aern't the greatest to lauch at the track with.
I had 60' times of 2.26 and 2.29, but as it turned out, it didn't translate into my best runs.

ahh-- well there are ways to bypass all that.
--opposed to dumping the clutch at 3k you can launch higher say at like 4k and feather off, letting off to the release point and then going from there?

but yeah, good tires are a great investment. im running begoodrich g-force sports and im capable of launching my car at 5,500

the weather has been so nice around here that i might go out to Houston Raceway Park tonight. i can't find any of my time slips and its been awhile since i've drove my other car. plus i haven't been since i switched from the TDO5H-18G to the extrude honed GT3037 Pro S
