Learning parts brands!

I am new to this site and am also a noob with cars but I would love to learn.

What brands or types of performance parts can actually give my car a healthy boost in performance but still leave me with some money to do other things?

Nothing unless you have a lot of money.

Are we talking about handling, or about horsepower?

Haha yep. The only way you can upgrade your car and have money in the bank, is if you have a grip of money in the bank!

Start with basic to get more flow, header, intake, exhaust.

Than valve train and work your way down. (That's if you're wanting to do your own engine building)

Buying a bunch of ebay parts will make you car different, buy not usually better. Stick with the companies that actually have some R&D or at least track proven.
