Led running lights

Alright im installing some LED 5mm 12000-14000MCD into the lower right and left inserts as running lights on my 1990 Integra. I know how to wire fairly well but i was wanting to wire them directly to the fog light switch and im not to sure how to pop the switch out and get to the back of it. I was also told that while I was there at taking the switch out of the dash that I could wire the fog lights to their own circit so you could have just the fog lights on with out the lights switched on? Any thoughts would help alot.
