ok this is the thing, not EVERYBODY that is in the low class bracket is scum (sure alot of them are but i know people with HS diplomas that cant go to college because they dont have the $ or have a hard time finding good work. Everybody has there circumstances.. I live in longisland (good suburbs) and most white people here (making 100k a year are voting for obama here. Obama 's followers arent just black ... far from it i think.
Obamas or mccains plan doesnt affect me much considering me and my fiance make about 95k a year together so this isnt about my earnings but its what i feel is right. And even if i was earning a good triple digit sallery i still would NEVER vote for McCain, all i here is bullshit from that guy and his healthcare plan is a JOKE 5K isnt going to get u good healthcare. Mccains plans are gonna benifit the scum pos insurance companies. Healthcare should Not be a buisness or treated like 1!!
Obama supporters aern't all black, that's for sure. Blacks only comprise 13% of the population (whites = 65%, Hispanic 14%), it'd be mathematically impossible for him to win if that were the case.
I chalk up college educated/high earning Liberals as just being successfully brainwashed by the overwhelming majority of college professors who are Liberals, along the media being overwhelmingly Liberal, and so is the popular culture. Liberalism has become the default position of what many normal everyday people experience growing up in the United States today, at least this is what I have experienced growing up in the Northeast, a Liberal leaning area of the country. It's in the schools, in TV shows and movies, on the radio and in the news - on TV and in print magazines and newspapers. Liberals tend to do what "makes them feel good" or what they think "makes them good people", emotion ovverrides logical thought, reason and facts.
This is why liberals push for universal healthcare, to use your example, ltrain. In theory, it sounds fantastic, humane and "the right thing to do", but in reality, it will be a nightmare of inefficiency and substandard results, because that's what happens to
everything the Government touches (except the Military). It can't be done in a country of 300 million people. It will be grotesquely expensive, and if you haven't noticed the country is now more than 10 TRILLION dollars in debt. Healthcare is not written into the Constitution as a right. It's a business in the United States, and because it's a business and people are motivated to be the best at it whether for monetary or other reasons, we have the best doctors, surgeons and hospitals in the World.
Capitalism rewards hard work and motivation, Socialism kills it.
