memorial day weekend raod trip lake havasu arizona pics

well me, my friend, and his girl decided to head down there for some camping and boating, so heres the pics

fastest i was willing to try and go while towing my boat (ca speed limit towing is 55mph, plus the tires on the boat trailer are only rated to 55 lol)

good thing i had enough gas to get to AZ though

of course right before i hit the AZ border i got rolled for no front plate in needles. Hopefully these guys process the ticket quick enough that i can mail the processing fee, otherwise it looks like i have to drive all the way down there again, already happened to me in sacramnto in my old car, they took so long to process it that by the time the information got mailed here i only had 3 days till the deadline and express mail wouldnt have made it because if you mail your payment has to arrive 72 hrs before your deadline, or a warrant is issued for your arrest if your fix it isnt paid on time. If i do drive down there again i guess we will make a vegas trip out of it

That day the boat almost sank, it was way too windy and waves kept washin over the bow.

all and all it was a great trip other than the boat almost sinking, the fix it ticket, and the fact we hadda go to the emergency room the first night there cause my friends girl got bit by a scorpion.

That place looks sweet ! Sucks you gotta a ticket but the trip looked worth it. And yea the cup holders do come in handy in the ol' Teg. The groccery cart full of beer and water is the true party diet, beer 4 fun and water 2 get rid of the hang over and cotton mouth. By the way the Teg looks good 2 ! :rocker:

the boat actually came later. Im an avid mountain biker, and on my old accord the yakima roof rack flew off the car on the freeway, so on this car i decided to go with a hitch mounted bike rack, so the hitch was already there for that, it was $130 shipped off etrailer.com and my dad and i put it on ourselves. Later when i got the boat, all i had to buy was a $25 eletrical connector so the tails would work on the trailer, and thats why you see a sock sticking out of the trunk in some pics.

haha yea i can get the whole car no problem .... it bein lowered really helps too.
