just checked my compression for the first time, it was easier than i thought. finally something went as planned, im in shock haha.

1994 GSR
Stock internally
164k miles

Cylinder 1: 180 psi
Cylinder 2: 185 psi
Cylinder 3: 180 psi
Cylinder 4: 180 psi

Overall, from what i know, it looks like im ok. seeing as how they are all + or - 5psi ( + or - 20 is spec i believe?) and around 180 is what i should expect out of a 164k mile GSR (correct me if im wrong).

***EDIT*** i just realized i forgot to hold the pedal at WOT while cranking it.....hmmmm....maybe i should do it again? i dont know how much of a difference it makes

try agian on WOT. ur numbers will change DRAMATICALLY. b/c the numbers you have now are low. a B18C should be 135(min)----270psi(max). and the B18B is 135(min)----199psi(max). my ls with 88k miles tested 200psi on all cylinders. real damn healthy!
