Just for shits and giggles and a place to log this experience I have decided to include you guys (and gals). The story behind this is pretty simple, we bought miniature bell peppers and decided to try and grow new plants from the seeds inside the peppers. We currently have about 30 seeds that have successfully started to grow roots. To do so, we removed the seeds from the bell peppers one night cooking dinner, no special seeds, just regular seeds from regular peppers you buy from the grocery store. I selected the best looking seeds and put the seeds on a damp paper towel inside a ziplock bag and stored them in a dark shelf for a week. One week later, we checked on the seeds and planted the seeds sprouting roots into biodegradable pots.

A few days later this appeared:

That's it as of now. One other pot is showing signs of new life but time will tell if all will be successful.
