need help with fuel gauge

Okay, bought a new fuel pump cause my fuel gauge wasnt working and I installed the pump CORRECTLY but the stupid gauge wont work still.. frustrated, cud it be an electrical/wiring problem?

the fuel pump and fuel gauge are on different electrical circuits. replacing the fuel pump will not fix your inoperative fuel gauge. possible culprits ...fuel gauge sending unit, fuel gauge, connections, wire or ground issues.

replace the fuel sender unit.. it's not in the pump at all.

lol, yeah it's probably the sending unit. We replaced it on our old 86 Corolla once... And KaBoom, it works. lol

Fuel Gauge Not working after fuel pump change

Need Help, changed the fuel pump and I guess it mounts to the fuel sending unit? Please advise,
pump works (car starts and runs good) but gauge doesn't - stuck on a 1/4 tank range
Maybe fuse, electrical, fuel sending unit? Any help would be great
