New 2000 Integra LS owner!

Hi guys,

I have been on this site for a little now but have not gotten a chance to post pictures of my Integra because I have not had the chance to take pictures since it gets really rainy here in BC, Canada. Anyway, we finally had a day where it was not really raining when I was not working so I finally got to take some pictures.

My cousin got a manual Cavalier z24 and I had never driven a manual before. After a total of about 1 hr of manual driving over a period of about 1-2 weeks I fell in love with stick shift driving and started looking for a stick shift car. I put my 1990 300zx NA automatic up for sale/trade in hopes to get my car before I went on vacation. The best offer I got was this 2000 Integra LS with 148,000kms = ~92,5000 miles and I managed to pull off a last minute trade about 1-2 hours before I left for the airport! :)

So, I have only been driving my new Teggy for only 2 weeks but I have not had any trouble driving the 5 speed. I guess I'm a pretty fast learner :p It probably helps that the car has a short shifter too.

Anyway, I did not know much about Integras but this offer was the best and the car looked the best too so I got it. Needless to say, this is the most fun car I have driven. Handles well, looks good, and I love the color too! :) I was not a fan of the spoiler at first but it has kinda grown on me.

Right now it is still stock but I plan on getting an intake and a catback system. My friend is trying to make his own icebox so if that goes well, that will be the direction I will be going. Also, I am looking at the Yonaka catback system. I really like the Evo2 and Tanabe concept G but those are really expensive. So I am leaning towards the Yonaka right now. Any recommendations or ideas of which direction should I go?

Anyway, here are the pictures!

Thats a good looking car man! I'd just rip the wing off of it but other than that, it looks clean!

Welcome!
Looks to be in nice shape. Good starting point.
The wing is horrendous though... just my opinion.
What wheels are those, Motegi?

I like that wing. It sets you apartfrom everyone here.

I enjoy Integras.
Car looks good man. I agree, I'd get rid of the wing. Unless you like it, then keep it.

I'd change up the wheels and a front lip! :thumbs up

Nice pick up.... rid yourself of that spoiler... and just leave it spoilerless.... and you are good to go... everything else looks great~

Everyone: Thanks. Yeah I'm not a fan of the spoiler but if I remove it theres gonna be huge holes on my car! How much to get rid of it and fix it?

LS Integra: Yeah I plan on getting new rims too. I'm leaning towards white colored rims. Front lip will probably be after my exhaust and intake.. maybe. Which front lip do you recommend?

AC Jett - Not sure what the rims are. Will check when I get home.

Welcome to the club. You'd have to plug them or buy another hatch if you wanted. Depending on the holes you could always put a different spoiler on it. I personally like spoilers (Not that horrendous one) but I love OEM spoilers on the tegs.
