New guy, got questions

Hey all, new to the import world (old muscle collector). Had a couple questions regarding a 91 LX. I was curious as fitting a third gen Integra dash/console into a second gen before I spend any money to grab up the third gen interior?

I have done similar things with other cars, but damn if these little cars aren't a million times harder to work on (lack of space). I don't mind doing a bit of cutting and sanding, maybe even having to paint afterwards (I fit an older Jeep dash/console into a semi newer Jeep from an auto to a manual, looked great after cheap painting).

Also, I would love leather, and would be interested in swapping some leather into the rear as well. Is there much of a difference in the width of the interior that would throw this off? (Again, if there is no difference, just mounting differences, I can handle that).

Thanks for your input. Look forward to hanging around a bit. :)

welcome first off the 3rd gen dc dash is different in length from the second gen if i rememebr right its slight longer and bulkier then the second gen but anything is possible as far as seats you could get the gsr leather and have brakets made to fit same with the rear i think there is a write up on www..g2ic.com about it

Thanks, I will look into it. Maybe if anything I will take a tape measure down to a junk yard and check measurements and see how everything would fall in.

I didn't know they had an LX trim level for 2nd gens.?

As for the dash, it would be difficult, time-consuming, and IMHO stupid.

But the leather, it should be a simple swap, as I believe some G2's had OEM leather.
