No power

Okay guys. I need help. My car has no power with the battery plugged in.

Background info:

98 ls with a b20 swap

So I blew my car up. I have the motor out of my car. I did a battery and fuse box re location. I had my dash out at one point as well to pull my ac and heat.

Problem:
I have a ground hooked up to the battery as well as the power wire to the main fuse box. I plugged the battery in and turned the key. None of my lights popped on. My battery is at 8 volts from sitting (yes a little low). When I plug the battery in it drops to .23 volts. I'm stumped as to why. I can't find any bad wires. Should I charge my battery and try again?

My guess is a wire is not hooked up or is improperly hooked up. go through all of the wiring that you have touched and double check. When you get done check again and then report back with pics.

I'm a fuck. It was the dead battery. Now I feel like it's my first day here measuring gas mileage by days.

Wasn't even enough for my ecu. Well. Figuring out it was just my battery have me the needed hoe to finish this.
