Like how they actually burn up inside the wires. You can bend the wires and hear them crack. They don't hold a charge, etc.

Why not just get the NGK non-platinum plugs and wires that are oem spec?

This is what I was talking about NGK-R & V-Power Non-Platinum Spark Plugs.

If you're not running a turbo or supercharger, you really don't need the expensive plugs and wires because you don't need that much of a spark. At least that's what I've been told, and damn the Spark Plugs are $10.

I doubt that you want to be replacing plugs and wires every 3 months.
