OBDI vs OBD II?

Why do most people say switch from OBDII to OBDI?


OBDII seems so much more useful than OBDI does?

lets say you have a 95 gsr (obd1) and a 96 gsr (obd2) and you put the same bolt on mods in both, youll get more power out of the obd1.

OBD2 has more exhaust restrictions and additional sensors thus robbing your car of power. OBD1 is preferred by tuners.

The only reason I like OBD2 is the ease to scan for codes with the plug.
Everyone else is right about OBD1.
