Oil cap help

my oil cap is on so tight and im low on oil anyone no any trick to get it off im getting pissed

Did you try using rubber gloves? Always works for me when I can't open shit.

Try using a dampened rag.

Was your car warm when you tried to take it off?

dry the cap as best you can, then snap some rubber band around the cap, then with clean hands or clean gloves loosen that sucker...make sure not to put oil on rubber bands

^^^Yep something like that. I had that problem with a '99 Sentra I used to own. I used vise grips to get it off. The freakin oil cap on that car was clutched, like a gas cap. Why?

what i do is put a flat head screwdriver on one of the fins on the oil cap and hammer the top of the screwdriver lightly with enough force to loosen the cap.
