Oil/grease on fire wall?

I was checking my oil the other day and noticed what looks to be grease on the fire wall. I put my hand around the driver side axle to feel if the grease is coming from there but it was clean. Could it be from the power steering rack?

Based on the location of the leak it is highly unlikely that it is your steering rack. It looks like it is the gasket between the brake booster and brake fluid reservoir. Keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't get much worse, and make sure your brake fluid is at an acceptable level.

main seal could be blown and it could be shot out between the tranny.

Looks like a belt or a pulley spit that up in there. Clean your engine bay and check the block for leaks
