Oil Leak

Hi guys,

I think I may have an oil leak. I'm not 100% sure cause it may just be water but what is the best way to know if you have an oil leak and how much is it to repair?

put cardboard under you car overnight and look at it in the morning, that will tell you

One, learn how to tell oil from water...

Seriously, if you do have a leak, it really depends on where it is...

If you have an excessive amount of oil around your engine, (dark brown liquid.) it's probably oil.
Depending on the area is what will tell you what is leaking.
What is leaking will tell you the cost to fix it.

Best way to know? Either put cardboard down like he suggested or clean it really well and see where oil appears first.

i did that overnight and no signs of any leak. i will try it again tonight just to confirm
