oil leak

can oil leak from the drivers side axle into the half shaft? like, the part of the driver's axle that goes into the tranny. i popped it in there and hammered to make sure it set in good. after driving, i look under and i see oil dripping from it. its not dripping from the oil filter. would there be ano other place that it would be coming from above??

There is only thick grease packed into that bearing. The source of your oil leak is above. I usually get a drop there after I change my oil filter.

i could smell it burning off the exhaust after going uphill or at a stop. its fucking annoying and i cant pinpoint where its coming from.

still havent found that damn oil leak. and my a/c isnt as cold anymore
