Oil Pump Seal

Can the timing belt of my B18A1 get contaminated with oil, if the oil pump seal needs to be replaced?

Part #20 in the following illustration is the part that I'm concerned with, correct?



Sorry for the extremely newby questions, just trying to get my DA9 running reliably. :thumbs up

You should replace any leaking seals when you do the timing belt. I would recommend a timing belt and water pump service since you'll have to pull it all apart to get to it. Unless you have recently done the tbelt/h2o pump service.
