Painted my valve cover.

I was bored, had some paint and primer. So I did it. I think it turned out pretty good for using shitty ass sand paper and not being able to get into the nooks and crannys. I wish I would have waited a little longer before putting it back in the car though. Patience > Me. The "Honda Motor CO" is painted silver with a paint pen. I'm eventually going to dremel the paint off of it so its bare metal. Let me know what you think (Yes I know it ran a little bit and mind you, I couldn't sand THAT well. Also this is my first time painting anything like this)

Not bad. Should've sent your VC to Ricky AKA 8urcivic. He's the VC painting specialist.

Yeah i've noticed that. But hey, when I want it to look professional and stuff I'll send it to him probably.

Oh.. and I wanna do a lip on my wheels the same color as the valve cover.. how do you guys mask off the lip? Just use really short pieces of tape one at a time? Or is there an easier way

Next time do yourself a favor and get a spare cover, take your time and do it right.. it will pay off in the end trust me :)

The last ring? Around the spark plugs? I already checked for oil leaks and it's all good

lmao.. I know the problem is when I first went to spray it, I didn't know the paint sprayed in a line. Instead of a round burst it was a straight line. It was marking paint I believe lol. I did the best I could. This isn't anything permanent
