Paypal for trans? Likely?

DC Guardian

Uniqueness defines
Im looking around to buy a gsr trans. Idk how to pull the case open and id rather not. So id have to trust the sellers word "no grinds no pops good reverse good synchros", but i woudnt have the peace of mind; heck i might even be scammed for an ls trans.

Is it unlikely that a seller would accept a paypal transaction for a trans? Im asking this because should i walk away n not look back if they say no. Its kinda like a "if a seller wont let u test drive it, walk away, might be a bad buy" sort of thing. If it doesnt turn out to be a good buy, i could always dispute it via paypal, which is why i want to go thru the paypal way

Side question: what should i look out for or avoid or questions to ask when buying a used trans? I know i dont want a trans if it was pulled from a built motor, more power more likely to grind/harsh shifting?

Get a note from seller stating the info and condition, then go get it notarized.
