pcv valve

The one way check valve is not good in a boosted configuration. If plumbed like stock it would close the valve as soon as positive pressure was created in the intake system. This is bad as under load more combustion gases escape the piston rings. So at a minimum you need to disconnect the hose from the PCV valve to the intake. Plug the intake port and you can leave the PCV valve venting to free air or better idea is to replace the PCV with a straight hose fitting (less restrictive).

Hope im not thread jacking. But maybe the op could use this info too. Was it a pain to get the parts out of the valve?

Why would you waste the time? Go to Home Depot or Lowes and buy a 1/4" 90* barbed hose fitting for $1.
