polished blades, how to

so im ganna polish my blades, ive looked at some diy threads but i was just wondering is there any way to screw it up, cause i seen one guy on here that did it and it looked like he f'd them up

Umm not really man..just strip off all the paint/clear coat (if any)

Clean them nice...than start with a heavy grit and work your way up. If you're doing this by hand You'll have sore finger tips lol goodluck

not really... just start with low grit like 400 to 2000 i think.. so 400 then 500 then 600 blah blah or you can go every otehr hundred..

yea alrght i was jus double checkin, i dindt really feel like f'in them up, when you polish them do you just do the face or do you do like he sides of the spokes to?

It's really up to you, but I'd say do the sides too.
I think I remember the guy you're talking about, they looked f'd up because he sanded in one spot for too long.

You polish the face of the wheel only...no body is going to ask you to take off your wheel to see how polished the inside is.
