Possible cooling issue

Bought the car about two months ago. Runs fine. Only thing I noticed is the engine
Seems to be hot. Temp gauge works as should. I let it warm up before driving. Temp reads normal. But radiator cap and upper hose very hot. Also the fan doesnt come on. Seems as if its not flowing. Nothing done to the car. Intake exaust. Don't drive hard. Just worried it might be getting too hot. I live in ga I know it will run hot because the weather however I don't wanna damage anything. Any help much appreciated

Umm...antifreeze gets hot...so the cap and hose will as well...as for the fan, either the fan or relay may be bad. If its the fan, replace it. Otherwise just run a switch to the fan so you can turn it on when you turn the car on.

Ran a toggle switch. Like I said temp gauge says normal. But shouldn't you be able to grab the hose without it burning so bad
